On the 9th November we had a special night . We had reached our 10 year milestone. As a charity which started in 2008 by Craig and his family. we have gone from strength to strength over the years with the help off some fantastic people. this night was a thank you to all who have supported us, helped us along the way and kept us going strong, not to mention those who we’ve been lucky enough to help. the Ricoh was highly accommodating as always and cant thank them enough. the evening consisted off a 3 course dinner (loved the desert), excellent entertainment from thom Kirkpatrick (musician extraordinaire), comedy duo Raymond and Mr.Timkins review, DJ Andy Saunders and finally our compare Lester Crabtree . they were raffles, games and auctions. One off the brilliant prizes was a weekend at Newmarket races. This included meeting the trainers, access to the paddocks, overnight stay and dinner. we raised a whopping amount, thanks to all that attended, it was such a amazing night and we look forward to seeing you all next year 🙂

In August we were lucky enough to be a chosen charity for Coventry Building Society (Binley rd branch). A Launch day was held in early  August 2018. this means that CBS will be raising money for our cause this year and through 2019. The impact off having such a name take us on as their charity is amazing. the money raised and the help they have given us, in our other fund raising events is phenomenal. we thank you all at CBS , and a big thanks to Sue, Josh and Allanah who chose to take us on.

On the 16th August we were able to grant Charlotte’s wish to go to Give Kids The World Village in Florida. below are some off the photos of Charlotte’s trip with her family.  None of this would be possible if not for your donations and support of CCWL. So a big thanks again to everyone who made this possible.

On the 24th July Ffion’s wish was granted. she had asked to go the X FACTOR and meet Simon Cowell. Our man Craig set about making this possible. Amazingly she managed to watch the show being shot , but that’s not all folks. we managed to wrangle a meet with Simon Cowell, Louis Thomlinson and Robbie Williams. Here are some off the pics below. On the 21st-23rd September, we were invited to join the local festivities by the brilliant people off Stockton. we were given space in the local Inn (The Crown Inn) to set up a stall and that was greatly appreciated as it was raining all day. that didn’t stop the locals coming out and supporting us and the festivities. there was a scarecrow hunt in the village, a smashing game off smash the dinner set and our tombola raffle and not forgetting all the other activities put on around the local area. With many a great donation and people taking part , a very big thank you to you all for having us and helping us to raise money. you have always been there for us and a great supporter off our cause. Thank you people off Stockton 🙂
